GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) is a solution for optical access networks, offering high speed, cost-effective broadband applications and Triple Play services (voice, video and data). This technology allows sharing fiber optics among customers, reducing cost and maximizing the use of bandwidth.

Datacom has a range of GPON products that enables complete solutions of any size and cost-effective to provide FTTx services. The GPON product line is compliant with ITU-T G.984 and ITU-T G.988. Each GPON link supports downstream rates of 2.488 Gbit/s and upstream rates of 1.244 Gbit/s and offers dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA).

The DM4610 OLT 4GPON is a compact and economical 1U solution for providing FTTx services. It supports 4 x GPON, 4 x 1GE optical SFP and 2 x 10GE optical using SFP+ connectors. This model supports 512 subscribers (ONU / ONT) whose network configurations are made remotely via the OMCI protocol in accordance with ITU-T standards. The DM4610 can remotely configure the main parameters of the ONU / ONT DM984-420 and DM984-422 (PPPoE, Fixed IP, DHCP, Bridge and WLAN).

Supports AC or DC power using independent, redundant, and hot-swappable power supplies. Offers hot-swappable FAN module.
