The XGS-PON (10 Gigabit Symmetrical Passive Optical Network) is a solution for optical access that offers access speeds of up to 10Gbps symmetrical, for broadband applications, Triple Play services (voice, video and data), corporate services, among other solutions. . This technology allows the sharing of optical fiber among customers, reducing costs and maximizing bandwidth utilization. In addition, the DM4616's XGS-PON solution allows coexistence with GPON technology in the same fiber, allowing the gradual migration of services without the need for a high initial investment.
The DM4616 is an OLT in pizzabox format, 1U high, ready for installation in standard 19-inch Racks, containing 4 XGS-PON interfaces and 4 10GbE interfaces, all in SFP+ connectors. It allows a Split Ratio of up to 1:256 per port, with a maximum capacity of up to 1024 XGS-PON clients per OLT. The 10GbE uplinks guarantee wirespeed operation, without blocking traffic in the OLT.
The product is fully compliant with the ITU-T G.9807.1 standard, with each link operating at downstream and upstream rates of 9.953Gbit/s.
The equipment has a command line interface (CLI) accessible through SSHv2, Telnet and RS-232 Console. SNMP v1, v2c and v3 agents are available. Furthermore, it provides an XML interface based on the NETCONF standard.
Commit and rollback operations (commands and Firmware), the use of user authentication via RADIUS and TACACS, local and remote Syslog are available to facilitate configuration, management and troubleshooting of the equipment.
