In June/22, the Compact Modular OLT DM4618 was launched, which came to expand Datacom's GPON portfolio, enabling greater end customer service in a single device.

At the end of October/22, Datacom made available to the market the OLT DM4618 expansion Line Card, which allows expanding the equipment's capacity by 32 more ports, thus totaling 64 GPON interfaces in a 2U high chassis, the highest density of 2U GPON ports available on the market.

The Line Card with 32 GPON ports is available from the DmOS software with version 8.2.0, check the DmOS datasheet to check the equipment's functionalities.

The Line Card Slot is located on the front of the OLT DM4618, where we also have 32 fixed GPON interfaces, the out-of-band management (MGMT) interfaces, console and alarms, and the uplink interfaces (4x25GbE and 2x 100GbE ).

• In Band and Out-Of-Band management, through console ports and MGMT;
• DmOS operating system
• Manageable by SNMP and NETCONF
• Manageable by DmView software

Like all other Datacom OLTs, the DM4618 complies with the ITU-T G.984 standard and does not block ONUs from other manufacturers (We recommend prior testing, as we do not guarantee the implementation of the standard by the third party. Our team of support is available for eventual compatibility tests).
