The ONU DM987 - 1010 is an excellent solution for optical access with XGS-PON (Ten Gigabit Symmetrical Passive Optical Network) technology, which offers speeds of up to symmetrical 10Gbps, being a great cost benefit for broadband applications and Triple Play services ( voice, video and data). This technology allows the sharing of optical fiber among customers, reducing costs and maximizing the use of bandwidth and installed fibers, in addition to coexisting perfectly with EPON and GPON technologies in the same PON branch (through WDM1r).
The ONU DM987-1010 complies with ITU-T G.987.2 standards for high-speed optical fiber access applications. Ethernet data is transported transparently over the XGS-PON link and delivered to a line termination unit (OLT, Optical Line Termination).
The ONU has a Gigabit Ethernet LAN interface and a 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN interface, with support for operation in Bridge or Router modes, with PTO integrated in the lower part of the equipment, which facilitates installation organization and protects the optical connector.
The DM987 - 1010 also has the remote management resource through the TR-069 protocol. With this resource, the ISP can manage through the cloud all the routers installed in its subscribers. Management by the TR-069 enables the ISP to perform remote diagnostics and tests, reducing operating costs.
