In May, Datacom had the privilege of participating in two extremely important events for the Internet Service Providers sector in Brazil: the ABRINT 2023 National Meeting and EXPOISP Brasil.
The ABRINT 2023 National Meeting took place at the Transamerica Expo Center, in São Paulo, from May 24th to 26th. This event is recognized for its national and international importance, being a meeting point for professionals from the entire telecommunications sector. Our stand attracted hundreds of visitors, where our commercial team was readily available to receive everyone. To further enrich our customers' experience, Datacom's training instructor, Tatiane Figueiredo, was present to answer technical questions.
Previously in May, we were present at EXPOISP Brasil, which took place in Olinda on the 10th, 11th and 12th. Although EXPOISP is an event with a greater focus on the North/Northeast region, its relevance is national and is perfectly aligned with our mission of being present in the main events of the sector. The fair is known as a space where telecommunications professionals can update themselves on industry trends, interact with competitors, learn about new products and services, as well as participate in seminars and workshops and expand their network of relationships and potential business.
During both events, in addition to presenting our diversified portfolio of telecommunications solutions, we were pleased to highlight our latest innovation, the OLT XGS-PON DM4616. While all of our products received attention, the DM4616 undoubtedly stood out, catching the attention of many visitors. This equipment represents an important milestone in the evolution of optical networks, offering higher data traffic speed, with capacity for 10Gbps symmetrically, without losing efficiency in its operation.
The DM4616 is a product designed with the needs and pace of growth of internet providers in mind. With a compact design and initial focus on premium applications, it allows for the gradual implementation of XGS-PON services, requiring a lower initial investment. In addition, it has the ability to coexist with GPON technology on the same fiber, facilitating the transition between technologies and ensuring better use of existing network infrastructures.
We believe that the OLT XGS-PON DM4616 will have great adherence in the market, since it combines technological advancement, flexibility of use and operational efficiency.
