Datacom is proud to announce the partnership with the ClickIP Group in the implementation of DM-SV01 servers in its new Data Center, located in Manaus. This collaboration marks an important technological advance for the North Region, with the inauguration of the largest commercial Data Center in the region, strictly complying with TIA-942 RATED-3 standards, equivalent to the Tier III standard.
ClickIP Data Centers represents an investment of more than R$20 million in an area of 1,200m² in the heart of Manaus. With a capacity of 500 KVA and 240 kilowatts dedicated to IT space, the Data Center operates with 49 racks and offers services such as colocation, bare metal, virtualization and backup. The high-performance infrastructure, optimized to be closer to the end user, provides low latency and high performance, being the first Data Center of this size in Northern Brazil.
The Origin of ClickIP
The creation of ClickIP arose from the internal need to improve the group's operating infrastructure. According to the co-founders, Maykon Souza and Neilson Reis, having already worked in the internet services market in Amazonas, they noticed the scarcity of hosting and data infrastructure options in the region. Until then, many companies had to resort to services offered in the Southeast of the country. Initially, the plan was to build an internal solution to host its own services, but with the growth of the market and the demand for more robust solutions, ClickIP made the decision to create a large Data Center. This expanded vision made the project more ambitious, and today the ClickIP Data Center is a reference in the North of Brazil.
Advanced Implementation with the DM-SV01
In the ClickIP Data Center, three SRV clusters were implemented, each consisting of four DM-SV01 server blades. Each blade features a strategic combination of NVMe and HDDs, where the NVMe acts as a high-performance cache for the HDDs. This ensures greater speed and efficiency in accessing data. These clusters are managed through Ceph, integrated with the Proxmox hypervisor, providing robust and reliable control. Additionally, there is a third cluster, SRV03, operating with VMware, offering flexibility and diversity in virtualization options. All clusters are configured to operate in high availability (HA), ensuring that services continue to operate without interruption, even in failure scenarios.
