Datacom presents outstanding solutions at ABRINT 2025

From May 7 to 9, 2025, Datacom attended yet another edition of ABRINT, an event that until last year was known as the traditional National Meeting of Providers. In 2025, the event underwent a significant evolution and is now known as AGC – Abrint Global Congress, reflecting the maturity and internationalization of the sector.

Held in the Anhembi District of São Paulo, the congress has established itself as the main meeting point for the telecommunications sector in Latin America, attracting thousands of professionals, operators and providers from all over the country and South America. In this edition, the presence of LACNIC in parallel further reinforced the technical and global nature of the event.

Our stand was located on Avenida C, Stand C-03, in Pavilions 4 and 5, in a privileged location, with a high flow of visitors.

Active participation and valuable connections

According to regional manager Luiz Ubaldo Jr., who has participated in Abrint for over 13 editions, this was one of the busiest events he has ever seen:
"I have participated in 13 or 14 editions, and this was without a doubt the busiest I have ever seen. The new pavilion at Anhembi helped a lot, and the strategic location of our stand contributed to the constant movement. We did not stop for a second."

Account manager Ricardo Cruz highlighted the extended stay of visitors as a differentiator:
"I thought more providers stayed longer at the fair. In the past, they would just go on a day trip. This time, they spent the three days traveling calmly, which shows how relevant the event is."

He also noted the constant search for new things:
"Visitors arrive asking: 'What do you have new?'. This shows that the market is hungry for innovation."

Featured Products

DM-SV: Open Compute Project (OCP) Servers

With success stories from several providers, such as EasyNet, which consolidated more than 500 VMs on a single server, Datacom servers have attracted attention for their energy efficiency and high performance for regional data centers. According to Leonardo Trevisol, there has been a growing demand for this type of solution:
"Many providers want to become mini data centers. They are looking for local infrastructure to serve corporate clients who currently use the cloud abroad."

400G Solutions: Transceivers and Switches

The solutions with 400G ports presented at AGC were shown as a response to the growing demand for capacity and low latency in metro and backbone networks. Leonardo adds:
"The 400G modules and 400G switches were some of the most frequently asked questions at our booth."

DM4920 and DM4900: Advanced DWDM Platforms

DWDM transport technology gained prominence:
"Our DWDM made a lot of noise at the fair," says Leonardo. "Many people still didn't know that Datacom had this solution, and there was huge interest, both for the optical layer and for DCI."

Other products in the spotlight

In addition to the highlights mentioned, the DM8630, a versatile appliance for solutions such as firewall and network security, Wi-Fi APs, DMSFP modules and several compact infrastructure solutions aimed at ISPs and integrators, also aroused curiosity.
