Knowledge in one place.
Between November 17th and 20th, Datacom was in Aracaju (SE) to conduct in-person L2 Switch training, promoted in partnership with SindiproSE, the Inova Sergipe Institute, and the Municipal Secretariat of Economic Development of Aracaju (SEMDE). The initiative brought together professionals from internet providers in Sergipe and Alagoas, with a strong presence of technicians working in the interior of both states.
The training was given by engineer Tatiane Figueiredo, from the Datacom technical team, who led four days of theoretical and practical content on Switching technologies. This was the second certification edition held in Sergipe within this partnership — the first, the previous month, addressed GPON solutions.
Professionalization as a central axis
According to the president of SindiproSE, Pedro Neto, the regional sector still faces challenges related to the lack of structured technical training. Many professionals begin their careers in a self-taught way, which makes standardization and the evolution of network operations more difficult. By bringing Datacom certification to Aracaju, the intention was to bring the technical content closer to those on the front lines, reducing travel costs and making training that normally takes place at Datacom's headquarters in Rio Grande do Sul more accessible.
The result of the mobilization was evident: most participants came from the interior, traveling to Aracaju and dedicating four full days to the course. Professionals from Alagoas were also present, expanding the reach of the initiative.
Technical support with responsibility and strengthening of the ecosystem
Datacom has surpassed the mark of 10,000 professionals trained in face-to-face, distance learning and in-company training. The operation in Sergipe represents another step within this commitment: to support the qualification of clients and partners in a planned way, aligned with regional needs and carried out in specific initiatives, structured together with local entities.
This approach reinforces Datacom's technical responsibility and its connection with those who operate networks in different regions of the country, contributing to the evolution of the ecosystem. For Sindipro - SE, actions like this strengthen the professionalization of providers and help build a stronger and more connected Sergipe. For Datacom, they are opportunities to integrate technology, knowledge and people focusing on network reliability and market development.
