Datacom among the highlights of RTI 2025

The Leading Brands in Internet Service Providers Survey, conducted annually by RTI magazine since 2017, is one of the main benchmarks for monitoring the perception of Internet service providers regarding manufacturers operating in the country. The publication brings together the brands most mentioned by ISPs in 26 essential product categories, offering an up-to-date picture of the use and presence of the technologies that underpin Brazilian networks.

In the 2024 edition, Datacom already appeared consistently in different segments of the study. Now, with the results of the 2025 edition, it is possible to observe a general evolution in the categories where the company is mentioned, indicating an expansion of the presence of its solutions in the networks of providers.

Below, we present a summary of Datacom's main indicators in the two editions. The image below consolidates the categories in which the brand was mentioned, with a direct comparison between the 2024 and 2025 results:

The numbers show growth in important segments. In switches, the percentage of mentions increases from 11% in 2024 to 20.30% in 2025, keeping the company among the three most remembered brands. In the optical transceiver segment, there is an increase from 11% to 14.10%, reflecting greater use of this product line by providers. In GPON, Datacom's presence also expands, going from 4.7% to 11.18% in the analyzed period. In Wi-Fi routers, there is an evolution from 3.0% to 5.33%.

Finally, in DWDM, the company maintains its position among the three most cited for the second consecutive year, with 6.2% of mentions in 2025.

 

Overview and Evolution in Market Perception

The comparative analysis between 2024 and 2025 shows a consistent upward trend for Datacom in the categories evaluated by the research, with increased mentions in segments that comprise the core infrastructure of ISP networks. The expanded presence across different technological fronts indicates greater use of the company's solutions and reinforces its participation among ISPs of various sizes.

The RTI Survey, due to its relevance in the sector, allows us to observe how this perception transforms over time. The most recent results confirm Datacom's continued presence in the market and point to significant advances compared to the previous edition, reflecting the growing use of its technologies in Brazilian networks.
