At the same pace of growth in the ISP market, Datacom is at the forefront of delivering products that serve the exponential broadband market.
In a few months, the company made available three new ONUs with characteristics for different applications and in serving the end customers of internet providers.
The most recent is the ONU DM986-414, equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, an FXS interface and an advanced Wi-Fi interface to support applications that require high data traffic. The four high-gain external antennas (two for 2.4 GHz and two for 5 GHz) installed on two rods, offer superior coverage, which added to the MIMO 2x2 and Beamforming, create a fast and stable Wi-Fi connection.
The ONU DM985-102 stands out for the best cost-benefit ratio for broadband applications and Triple Play services (voice, video and data). With two external antennas and support for Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, this UN guarantees excellent performance and wide coverage in the wireless network of residential customers.
Another option of the GPON DATACOM line is the ONU DM986-100, a compact and simple solution. This device allows data services to be offered, optimizing costs for residential users.
These and other Datacom ONUs are compatible with the DM4610 OLTs (4-GPON and 8-GPON) and the DM4615 OLT (16-GPON), operating within the ITU-T G.984 and ITU-T G.988 standards.
