Ascenty, the largest data center infrastructure company in Latin America, and Datasafer, a cloud storage specialist, chose the DM-SV01 for new projects.
In addition to the inherent advantages of OCP technology, such as flexibility, reduced operating costs and greater processing capacity, fundamental to support the growing demands for traffic and data storage in a digital transformation scenario, the choice for the DM-SV01 is also due to for the agility in the delivery of the equipment. As it is a server developer and manufacturer, and not a reseller, Datacom controls the entire production process for this product. The company is responsible for planning the purchase of raw materials, as well as the entire operational and manufacturing process.
Walber Alexandre de Castro, Executive Director of DataSafer, points out that this Brazilian production is an alternative to the delay in the delivery of servers, due to the shortage of semiconductors resulting from the war between Ukraine and Russia, leading countries in the production of raw materials for chips. "We managed to overcome the crisis of components and supply the internal demand with planning, because while we had reports of companies that waited a year to receive this imported equipment, we received it in two months", he reveals.
It is worth noting that the partnership between Ascenty, Datacom and DataSafer reduces dependence on the domestic market for imported products by providing technology with development, manufacture of parts and equipment and 100% national labor.
