DM4376. 10GE Access Switch.
DM4376
10GE Carrier Grade Access SWITCH

The DM4376 switch is a compact, high-performance switch ideal for Metro Ethernet access networks and high-performance corporate networks that demand maximum synchronization precision and stability.

Based on the DmOS network operating system, the DM4376 switches ensure robustness and high service availability with support for a range of L2, L3, MPLS, and timing functionalities. Highlights include VLAN operations such as QinQ and VLAN Translate, LAG/LACP, ring operation via EAPS or ERPS protocols, support for RSTP, static and dynamic IP routing through OSPF and BGP, access control policy filters (ACL), QoS functionalities, and more. The switch also supports MPLS transport and aggregation features via LDP for point-to-point (VPWS) and point-to-multipoint (VPLS) services, as well as IP services via L3VPNs. All L2, L3, and MPLS packet forwarding, filtering, and QoS policies are handled in hardware, ensuring wirespeed operation.

With full support for major IEEE 1588v2 synchronization profiles, it operates as a Transparent Clock, Boundary Clock, and Ordinary Clock, while also supporting Synchronous Ethernet to ensure perfect signal alignment throughout the network.

Configuration is offered through a command-line interface (CLI) accessible via SSHv2, Telnet, and RS-232 or USB console ports. RADIUS and TACACS functionalities enable the creation of user authentication and access authorization policies. Local and remote Syslog features, NTP clients, and SNMP are also available to enable remote equipment management and troubleshooting.

With power redundancy and hot-swap slots for AC/DC power supplies, the DM4376 is prepared for environments requiring continuous operation, offering reliability and flexibility.
