In order to serve its customers and train professionals working in the operation of networks, Datacom presents its online training platform. The platform address is ead.datacom.com.br.
Datacom EaD is now available and with free access. In this first moment, it has two modules on the GPON and DmOS Switches solutions. The GPON module has 65 classes and 13 hours of complete training covering our OLTs and ONUs. The Switch DmOS module is made up of 67 lessons, with 10 hours of duration. Classes are taught by Engineer Tatiane de Figueiredo, responsible for Technical Training, with support from the Support team, responsible for customer service.
The GPON training offers practical and theoretical support for configuring the delivery of the Internet service with PPPoE authentication to customers. In addition to operation and maintenance, it has management and analysis of possible failures through the command line (CLI). According to Tatiane de Figueiredo, the objective is to offer participants the necessary knowledge to understand the settings related to the installation and operation of GPON OLTs with DmOS operating system through the use of CLI.
The training of DmOS - Layer 2 Switches, on the other hand, focuses on practical and theoretical knowledge for the configuration of layer 2 functionalities. The training includes the configurations of VLAN, QinQ, Link-Aggregation with load balancing and redundancy protocols. Also part of this module is operation, management and troubleshooting techniques, through the command line (CLI). From this training, professionals will be able to understand the settings related to the installation and operation of the DATACOM Ethernet switch line.
